What is DVR?
A simple way to record and watch your favorite shows. DVR stands for Digital Video Recorder. It lets you record any TV program and watch it at a later time. It also allows you to rewind and fast-forward live TV, pause a show, or even create your own instant replays, and watch in slow motion.

With DVR (Digital Video Recorder) service form BELD Broadband, it's easy to record your favorite shows using the on-screen guide. You can even record two shows at the same time. Plus, record your favorite high-definition (HD) programs if you have an HD DVR and HD television.

To record a single program:
• Press the Guide button on your BELD remote (this brings up the TV listings grid).
• Highlight a program in the grid and press the Record button on your remote. You can also press the Record button while you're watching live TV, or select the Record icon on the program information screen.

To record a series program:
• Press the Guide button on your BELD remote (this brings up the TV listings grid).
• Highlight a program in the grid and press the Record button on your remote twice and select the Set up a series recording icon.
• You can also select the Record icon on the program information screen and select the option to set up a series recording.

If you have a DVR with two tuners (dual-tuner DVR), you'll be able to:
• Watch one show while you record another.
• Record two shows and watch a third that's pre-recorded.
• Swap between two live shows with the ability to pause, fast-forward, and rewind each show.
• Schedule recordings of 3D programs.

DVR Storage Capacity Depending on the model of DVR you have, most DVRs can record up to 300 hours of standard-definition programming and up to 80 hours of high-definition programming. The DVR Recordings screen will indicate how much recording space is available. If there is less than 20% of recording space, you will receive an on-screen message alerting you that your recording space is low.

The above instructions may vary depending on your on-screen guide, but the basic functions should remain the same. Select the DVR option from your on-screen guide's main menu and follow the on-screen instructions. DVR service requires a BELD TV subscription and DVR set-top box.
